You can register to vote and cast a ballot at any early voting site in your county using same-day registration.

With same-day registration, you can fill out a voter registration form, show an identifying document and vote at any early voting site in your county when it is open (not on Election Day).

The identifying document must be one of these, with your name and current address:

• a North Carolina driver’s license

• other photo identification issued by a government agency. Any government-issued photo ID is acceptable, provided that the card includes your current name and address.

• a current college/university photo identification card paired with proof of campus habitation

• a copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, or a government document showing your name and address
